Frank(Bruce Willis飾)是電影的主角,在與妻子Sarah(Mary Louise-Parker飾)過著悠閒生活時偶遇Marvin(John Malkovich飾),三人其後被暗中追殺,他們的朋友Victoria(Helen Mirren飾)來電告知她收到任務要殺他們,同時殺手Han(李秉憲飾)也接到同樣的任務。 Bailey(Anthony Hopkins飾)。

Sin City: A Dame to Kill for,這是一齣罪惡片,我也很想重溫第一集,續集應該可以吧。 Places in the HeartIn the Line of FireBeing John Malkovich等。

A Secret Between Us (2013)

A Secret Between Us
16 September 2013
片長:95 Minutes

Comparison between My Prediction and Winner: 18/24
Comment: This year is with no surprise. Everybody gets something wrong because of very reasonable winners. Congrat to all winners and Idina's performance really drags me down. I think she is too nervous for that moment only. Ellen is exceptional. The selfie is very excellent and I wish I were the brother of Lupita. LOOK FORWARD TO 2015 OSCARS!!

2014 Academy Awards Full List Final Prediction and Will/Should Win Plus Deliberations (For Some Awards)

Even this is the last minute, but here are all the predictions. This piece is in English for the sake of Academy Awards.

BEST PICTURE
American Hustle
Captain Phillips
Dallas Buyers Club
Gravity
Her
Nebraska
Philomena
12 Years a Slave
The Wolf of Wall Street
Will Win: 12 Years a Slave
Could Win: Gravity
Should Win: Gravity
Personal Favorite: The Wolf of Wall Street
Deliberation: The Best Picture race is down to the final three: American Hustle, Gravity and 12 Years a Slave. The first one receives fewer boosts after nomination pasts. Many critics discuss the split of the later two pictures for the two biggest award tomorrow morning. From other bigger award ceremonies, 12 Years a Slave almost gets all the top prize so the stamina should have kept till tomorrow. However, Gravity can still be a threat due to the tie for PGA and the acclaim it receives. Gravity should have won because of the story and CGI in the movie. The whole picture is beyond imagination or is called creativity. It is even better then Life of Pi last year as this is a movie in a virtual environment. For myself, I love watching comedies a lot (actually drama as well), that is why The Wolf of Wall Street is my favorite this year. Out of the nine nominees this year, I have watched six of them (not including Her, Nebraska and 12 Years a Slave).

BEST ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE
Christian Bale, American Hustle
Bruce Dern, Nebraska
Leonardo DiCaprio, The Wolf of Wall Street
Chiwetel Ejiofor, 12 Years a Slave
Matthew McConaughey, Dallas Buyers Club
Will Win: Matthew McConaughey, Dallas Buyers Club
Could Win: Leonardo DiCaprio, The Wolf of Wall Street
Should Win: Leonardo DiCaprio, The Wolf of Wall Street
Personal Favorite: Leonardo DiCaprio, The Wolf of Wall Street
Deliberation: In the early season, Bruce Dern is having a great boost as many worry that he may lose nomination (actually he is very safe). Then every award ceremony starts awarding Matthew McConaughey for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club. He is in advantage because he got snubbed last year for Magic Mike and he has great body of work last year in three movies. He is the biggest chance here. However, I would like to see upset in this category because I just love the wildness and playfulness of Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street. He tried hard these years to ask audience to focus on his acting and finally overcame the hard feeling of being too handsome. This is the best performance in his career so far and Academy Awards always snub him for excellence. Even Chiwetel Ejiofor gets BAFTA, it cannot be concluded that he can threat Leonardo DiCaprio. This may be his compensation I hope (Indeed he did well in The Great Gatsby). Out of the five nominees, I have watched three of their performances (not including Bruce Dern and Chiwetel Ejiofor).

BEST ACTRESS IN A LEADING ROLE
Amy Adams, American Hustle
Cate Blanchett, Blue Jasmine
Sandra Bullock, Gravity
Judi Dench, Philomena
Meryl Streep, August: Osage County
Will Win: Cate Blanchett, Blue Jasmine
Could Win: Sandra Bullock, Gravity
Should Win: Meryl Streep, August: Osage County
Personal Favorite: Meryl Streep, August: Osage County
Deliberation: Cate Blanchett is the sure bet for this category unless all voters are insane. All the awards and critics show us she cannot lose this year. One website says that Meryl Streep will win tomorrow and I immediately think you are biased. The boost of Gravity can help Sandra Bullock to beat Amy Adams as from the academy members, they do not think that her performance is convincing enough to win. For personal pick, Meryl Streep is always my choice since she is my favorite actress of all time. She makes me love movies and who is me today. She should also win because her role is in huge difficulty and she masters it. Even though I agree that Cate Blanchett is excellent this time, I think that Meryl Streep is overlooked due to infinite expectations from critics and audiences on her. Honestly, I think she won last time for the wrong movie, she should have won for Doubt and Julie and Julia years ago. Out of the five nominees, I have watched all of their performances.

BEST ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE
Barkhad Abdi, Captain Phillips
Bradley Cooper, American Hustle
Michael Fassbender, 12 Years a Slave
Jonah Hill, The Wolf of Wall Street
Jared Leto, Dallas Buyers Club
Will Win: Jared Leto, Dallas Buyers Club
Could Win: Michael Fassbender, 12 Years a Slave
Should Win: Jared Leto, Dallas Buyers Club
Personal Favorite: Jared Leto, Dallas Buyers Club
Deliberation: Jared Leto is not the front-runner in the early season. His performance as a transgender woman cannot be compared by all of his fellow nominees. Even some still hope upset happens in this category, I guess it is very difficult to happen. Michael Fassbender can be a little threat as the villainous role makes his career and his snub for Shame also helps. However, Jared Leto is just having the charisma and he is perfect for being Rayon. That is why others need to wait for next time. Out of the five nominees, I have watched four of their performances (not including Michael Fassbender).

BEST ACTRESS IN A SUPPORTING ROLE
Sally Hawkins, Blue Jasmine
Jennifer Lawrence, American Hustle
Lupita Nyong'o, 12 Years a Slave
Julia Roberts, August: Osage County
June Squibb, Nebraska
Will Win: Jennifer Lawrence, American Hustle
Could Win: Lupita Nyong'o, 12 Years a Slave
Should Win: Lupita Nyong'o, 12 Years a Slave
Personal Favorite: Jennifer Lawrence, American Hustle
Deliberation: Either Lupita Nyong'o or Jennifer Lawrence can take home the prize. The former one has a lot of supports and it is a very hard decision to make. However, Jennifer Lawrence is one of the favorite actresses of Academy Awards (Just like Meryl Streep, she may even be more popular), I guess BAFTA gives us some signals. Even last year she won without BAFTA for Silver Linings Playbook, the voters can still fall on her for her attractiveness. Lupita is in a very bad position. Her debut performance is one of her best parts for her campaign. We will see tomorrow for the result but I make it a little conservative first. I feel the brilliance of Jennifer Lawrence in American Hustle, she is the best part there. Out of the five nominees, I have watched three of their performances (not including Lupita Nyong'o and June Squibb).

BEST ANIMATED FEATURE FILM
The Croods
Despicable Me 2
Ernest and Celestine
Frozen
The Wind Rises
Will Win: Frozen
Could Win: The Wind Rises
Should Win: Frozen
Personal Favorite: Frozen
Deliberation: Frozen leads from top to the bottom. If it gets snubbed tomorrow, it will be a very sad day. This movie inherits the beauty of Disney animations and a better story at the back. Even some nominees have a better story, the animation is not as good as this one. The Wind Rises can be a threat due tot he retirement of its director and his previous good job in Spirited Away. I love Frozen because of the songs definitely. I can recite some of the songs in movies right now. However, this category can be surprised like last year (Brave is good but Wreck-It Ralph should have won). Out of the five nominees, I have watched four of them (not including Ernest and Celestine).

BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY
Philippe Le Sourd, The Grandmaster
Emmanuel Lubezki, Gravity
Bruno Delbonnel, Inside Llewyn Davis
Phedon Papamichael, Nebraska
Roger A. Deakins, Prisoners
Will Win: Emmanuel Lubezki, Gravity
Could Win: Philippe Le Sourd, The Grandmaster
Should Win: Emmanuel Lubezki, Gravity
Personal Favorite: Emmanuel Lubezki, Gravity

BEST COSTUME DESIGN
Michael Wilkinson, American Hustle
William Chang Suk Ping, The Grandmaster
Catherine Martin, The Great Gatsby
Michael O'Connor, The Invisible Woman
Patricia Norris, 12 Years a Slave
Will Win: Catherine Martin, The Great Gatsby
Could Win: Michael Wilkinson, American Hustle
Should Win: Catherine Martin, The Great Gatsby
Personal Favorite: Catherine Martin, The Great Gatsby

BEST DIRECTING
David O. Russell, American Hustle
Alfonso Cuarón, Gravity
Alexander Payne, Nebraska
Steve McQueen, 12 Years a Slave
Martin Scorsese, The Wolf of Wall Street
Will Win: Alfonso Cuarón, Gravity
Could Win: Steve McQueen, 12 Years a Slave
Should Win: Alfonso Cuarón, Gravity
Personal Favorite: Martin Scorsese, The Wolf of Wall Street
Deliberation: David O. Russell initially has some boosts and now he is with rare chance. Only Alfonso Cuarón and Steve McQueen can take the little golden statue. The later one is the front-runner because of the acclaim the picture receives. However, Alfonso Cuarón cuts his chances because Gravity is making noises especially about the way it presents the story. This is what a director does and that is why Alfonso Cuarón has the biggest opportunity. I do hope this category for upset as Steve McQueen should be encouraged to make such good film. I personally like Martin Scorsese due to the love to the movie. Out of the five nominees, I have watched three of their performances (not including Alexander Payne and Steve McQueen).

BEST DOCUMENTARY FEATURE
The Act of Killing
Cutie and the Boxer
Dirty Wars

Will Win: 20 Feet from Stardom
Could Win: The Square
Should Win: The Act of Killing
