某次坐巴士出九龍，經過旺角既時候，唔小心見到張poster，先醒起呢套《魔幻聖誕頌》會上映，再細心d睇下，原來係有Jim Carrey擔大旗既《A Christmas Carol》。記得係二月oscar之後，呢套戲已經開始有plan，諗住佢唔會咁快上畫，點知未到年尾己經搞掂，準備在當地(美國)聖誕節上映，不過唔駛等到christmas，香港已經提早上畫，唔少影評人都有點失望，批評此舉乃是拔苗助長。
原本一套動畫安份守己，唔應該有呢一部分既詳細闡述。豈料除了cast明星配音外，導演卻想到cast明星參與演出，正面來說，呢個演繹能夠配合所展現既年代，亦增添左整套戲既真實感；但負面地看，佢其實選擇了「危機」─把危險化為機會。坦言導演做左個成功既示範，可能係因為Jim Carrey一人分飾七角，仍保持高水準既演出，可謂值回票價。
雖然呢套戲被列為改編電影，但其內容跟我知道既原著版本並無太大既分別，值得一讚既係佢既真實感，同埋整套戲既華麗效果，暫時冇一套戲能夠媲美。如果迪士尼公司去年以如此質素既電影推上市場，我相信一定比《Bedtime Stories》來得更好既結果。最後亦於此恭喜第一屆金像影后惠英紅能夠在廿七年後，於金馬獎憑《心魔》飾演德仔母親一角首奪最佳女配角，希望她能夠繼續保持氣勢，續於明年香港金像獎再下一城，有幸兩度成為金像影后。
